Recently, we released a new update to our APIs that allow us to define Read and Write permissions for all our resources.
In practice, this means we can create a set of dashboard logins that have READ ONLY access to all the activity in your Finix Dashboard.
By default, when Finix Payments adds users to the Dashboard, they are given both READ and WRITE access.
How do I Request Read-Only Access for a set of Users?
At this time, the only way to request that a set of users have read-only access is to submit a support ticket.
In order to complete the request, we would need the following for each user.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
Standard turnaround is currently 3-5 Business Days for large blocks of users.
How do I Request Custom Access Controls?
When you submit a user for READ-ONLY request, we take their API key and remove their ability to do any WRITE actions across all our resources.
If needed, we can create a custom configuration to suit your business use case.
- Underwriters who need access to create Identities and Payment Instruments but not to create refunds on behalf of customers
- Limiting who can create Payment Instruments on the Dashboard (Update Bank Accounts)
