This list outlines the resource ID prefixes used to represent various resources used in Finix’s Dashboard and APIs. This list is not inclusive and is updated periodically.
APPLICATION (AP) Represents the Application ID. Each Application has its own unique ID. |
APPLICATION_PROFILE (PP) Represents custom settings tied to the Application, such as risk profile and fee profiles. |
AUTHORIZATION (AU) Represents an Authorization sent to the card networks. The Authorization states are: Succeeded, Failed, Pending, or Canceled. |
DEVICE (DV) Represents a card present terminal. |
DISPUTE (DI) Represents a dispute or any customer-disputed charge. |
DISPUTE_FILE (DF) Represents the dispute evidence. |
DISPUTE_TRANSFER (DT) Represents the transaction related to the dispute. This resource contains the dispute_id and the transfer_id. |
FEE (FE) Represents the fee ID. |
FEE_PROFILE (FP) Represents the pricing scheme that automatically applies fees to each transaction. |
FINGERPRINT (FPR) Represents the unique identifier for the underlying card or bank account that allows users to easily identify a card that's been tokenized. |
IDENTITY (ID) Represents the identity of the person or business entity that completes transactions through Finix. |
INSTRUMENT (PI) Represents the payment instrument. This can be either a credit card or bank account. |
MERCHANT (MU) Represents the Merchant ID. Each Merchant has its own unique ID that corresponds to 1:1 with a Merchant Identification Number (MID). |
PROCESSOR (PR) Represents the entity directly connecting to any of the card networks which transmits authorization, clearing, and settlement messages between acquirers and issuers. |
REVIEW QUEUE (RK) Represents the review queue for pending settlements. |
REPORT (RT) Represents the daily reports in the Finix dashboard. The report provides each Payment Facilitator with a list of all transactions settled for that day. |
SETTLEMENT (ST) Represents the Settlement ID. |
TRANSFER (TR) Represents Transfers in a settlement. |
USER (US) Represents a pair of API keys which are used to perform authenticated requests against the APIs. |
VERIFICATION (VI) Represents the results of merchant onboarding with a third party service. |
