REVIEW workflow
Note: At the time of publication, Finix is redesigning the user interface of the Dashboard. Some functions or features may look different. Check back for updates. This document uses mock data from Finix's sandbox environment.
The Dashboard is categorized into headers with subcategories. The headers are:
- TRANSACTIONS
- PEOPLE
- REVIEW
- SYSTEM
This article focuses on the REVIEW header. Within the REVIEW header, there are multiple subcategories. The information for each subcategory may be repeated. A blue icon indicates what subcategory the user is currently on.
Settlements
Note: Most pages have export functionality. To export a file, click the Export button on the right of the Dashboard.
For advanced export options, click on the gear icon next to the Export button. A pop-up modal displays various fields to export. Click on the Export button at the bottom of the modal to export.
The Settlements page is also known as the review queue and it lists settlements on the platform. The available statuses include: PENDING, REJECTED, or APPROVED.
You can use the search and filter function to search for a specific settlement. On this page, you can also approve, approve all, or reject settlement(s), and view settlement details.
Note: To approve all settlements, select Approve All from the drop-down at the bottom right and then click the Submit button.
To approve, or reject a settlement:
1. On the Pending tab, select the settlement ID(s) and check the box inline.
2. Navigate to the drop-down at the bottom of the page. Select the appropriate action.
3. A pop-up modal appears asking you to confirm your actions. Click the Yes button to confirm or click the No button to cancel and close out of the modal.
The settlement details page includes the following: GENERAL INFO, TRANSFERS, FEES, and FUNDING TRANSFERS.
GENERAL INFO
This page includes merchant information, settlement amount, and payment instrument information.
TRANSFERS
This page displays associated transfers. You can use the search and filter function to search for a specific transfer. The default search filter is set to DEBIT. You can close this filter and add another filter. On this page, you can also remove a transfer(s) from the settlement. To remove a transfer:
1. Select the transfer ID(s) and check the box inline.
2. Navigate to the drop-down at the bottom of the page. Select Remove from Settlement.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes. A pop-up modal appears asking you to confirm the action. Click the Remove Transfers button to save your changes.
4. The transfer(s) are removed from the settlement.
FEES
This page lists all fees separate from transfers. To view fee details, click the fee link to see the fee amount, fee type, and linked transfer ID as well as other details.
FUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: The funding instructions are only visible for approved settlements.
This page displays associated funding transfers. To view details, click the funding transfer link. Details include transfer state as well as payment instrument details.
Note: The trace ID (prefix FNX) can be used to trace the transfer through Worldpay's system.
Merchants
This Merchants page is also known as the review queue and it lists all the merchants on the platform. The available statuses include: PENDING, REJECTED, or APPROVED. You can approve or reject a merchant and view merchant details.
To approve or reject a merchant:
1. On the PENDING tab, select the merchant ID(s) and check the box inline.
2. Navigate to the drop-down at the bottom of the page. Select the appropriate action.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes. The merchant(s) are removed from the review queue.
The settlement details page includes the following: GENERAL INFO, TRANSFERS, AUTHORIZATIONS, FEE AND RISK PROFILE, and SETTLEMENTS.
GENERAL INFO
This displays processor details. On this page, you can also create a merchant verification by clicking the Create Verification button at the bottom of the page.
TRANSFERS
This page lists transfers in a settlement including their state as well as the type of transfer. You can use the search and filter function to search for a specific transfer(s).
AUTHORIZATIONS
This page includes authorizations in a settlement including their state as well as the authorization amount. You can use the search and filter function to search for specific authorization(s).
FEE AND RISK PROFILE
This page displays the fee and risk profile associated with the merchant. If a fee profile is not associated with the merchant, you can create one by clicking the Create Fee Profile button at the right of the page.
SETTLEMENTS
This page lists settlements for the merchant.
Identities
This Identities page is also known as the review queue and it lists all the identities on the platform. The available statuses include: PENDING, REJECTED, or APPROVED. You can approve or reject an identity and view identity details.
To approve or reject an identity:
1. On the Pending tab, select the identity ID(s) and check the box inline.
2. Navigate to the drop-down at the bottom of the page. Select the appropriate action.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes. The identity is removed from the review queue.
You can also view the identity details by clicking the identity link. A new page opens that displays identity information such as principal owner details, processing information, and custom information. On this page, you can assign the identity approval process to yourself by clicking the Assign to me button if the identity is not already assigned to you.
You can also approve or reject the identity by clicking the appropriate button. Your decision will appear as a status update at the right of the page.
